Implied Odds
Calculated ratio of the odds of what you should win on a particular hand, including future bets if you make your hand, to what the current bet is costing you.

Improve
To make one's hand better by catching a particular card that you are hoping for.
“That seven really Improved my hand.”
Isolation
To bet aggressively to drive opponents out of the pot, except for a specific opponent that you believe to be weak.
“I tried Isolation , and hoped that Mark would stay in and call.”
In
To remain in the pot.
A player can either be In or out of a hand.
Insurance
When a player is all-in, he or she puts up money that guarantees a pay-off of a certain amount in case the opponent wins the pot. This is usually a side agreement decided by the players.
“No amount of Insurance could make it worth while for Phil to stay in.”
In Turn
To play in order.
In a poker game, it is important for players to play In Turn .
Iron Duke
An unbeatable hand. This is also sometimes referred to as an Ironclad hand.
“I was holding an Iron Duke but was careful not to let the others know.”
